From there, it’s been a concerted effort to get it polished for print. His original submission to a syndicate for Wallace was over four years ago. He is also the creator of “Ordinary Bill,” which is on GoComics along with “Wallace the Brave.” Henry’s professional career began in college, where his strip “Room Mates” was published in The Daily Campus during his time at the University of Connecticut. “After working with a team of editors, I feel like I am focused, am happy with the work I am producing, but still strive for more.”

“When I first started this comic strip, I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do with cartooning,” Henry said.

The strip follows Wallace, an adventurous 6-year-old, as he experiences the youthful bravery and thrills of childhood in the quaint town of Snug Harbor. The comic strip launches next week, and it will be the newest comic to be featured on the Huron Daily Tribune's comics page, starting with Tuesday's edition. That mischievous kid would eventually become Wallace, the lead character in the soon-to-be nationally syndicated comic strip “Wallace the Brave.”
